BOT TUCK BAG

Afternoon hut dwellers everywhere. Saw this down Bond. Love a good leather sandwich bag, especially by Bottega (click) . Reminds me of when I was on the hod. Was all steel and Tupperware (click) in those days of course, but the sentiment is the same. Didnt like the price tag of yesterday’s bags Bryan? Try this one for size.

Started my own splinter-group break-time at 3.30 pm back there on the site you know. Became known as ‘Snickers break’. A Snickers bar cleaved into three by a naked trowel on a block then washed down with cream soda. It caught on, of course. Soon builders were at it on sites all over the West Country. Had to get out in the end when it all got too much. Just had to keep evolving. A bit like Bowie.

Stubbs out.

PS. If you’re interested I might publish the lyrics to the famous ‘Lemonade Song’, popularised during the same period. Crazy scaffold days.

During my stint on the shovel afternoon tiffin consisted of something exotic stuffed into a liquorice zig-zag.
